It is overpaintable stuff, however i might remove it, stone chip then re apply it then spray the top coat over it to be safe. I havent seen anyone else use it which is a shame so its a bit hit or miss.

I hate rain. :x But on a brighter note I picked the bonnet up today. :D I actually feel gutted that I'm going to chop it up as the thing is mint!

I popped it on just out of interest and the fitment isn't actually that far off.

Lined the up side by side for some measuring. The bulge on the fiesta bonnet is actually a good inch either side wider that the lancia bulge. Was hopeing it would be the other way around to make it easier to utilise the extra clearence for when/If i fit some throttle bodies but no big deal. It'll just take some extra thought.

In any case the vents and surrounding material with the mounting lugs will fit snugly in the origional fiesta bulge.

Hopefully sunday I can do some proper measuring and maybe some chopping.

Aslo dropped my inlet manafold off at A&H so they do do some port matching and they're also going to take a look at modifying the ST170 exhaust manifold too.

I'm supprised no ones used a lanica bonnet before really. Added clearence with the bulge, a vent over the turbo and manfold and a vent over the carbs/ throttle bodies. Just praying for some decent weather now!
