Jon I would love to take you up on that kind offer.

BUT all my attentions will be focused on getting this re-built as quickly and properly as possible.

I will still be going to all the shows to further my inspiration etc.

I love building them just shame this time I kind of got thrown in the deep end. :lol:

why is that engines always throw a wobbly at the worst time thats seriously shab thats why when i get another fezza im gonna steer clear of silver tops only the 1.6s seem to last for me and i blew the last one up hahaha

i am so sickned for you m8 thats a lot of damage there and a lot of hard earned penneys gone and some painstaking work too.
i feel your pain m8 but maybe not on the same level.
i blew my engine not long ago and have no money to fix it.
water/oil pump failed totally fried the hole engine i am gutted.
hope you get it sourted soon m8.

Love this car, followed all the updates in fast ford last year and couldn't wait for the full feature, Also saw it at ford fair last year in all it's awesomeness. Really feeling for you pal but at the same time really looking forward to seeing the mad ass monster you build this time round.

Spent yesterday in the car stripping the sound deadening material off.

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez! Thats a job I wish I never started.

Will hopefully be done by weeknd then off to bodyshop for some painting.

Was meant to go yesterday to have the engine painted, but thought best get the inisde done too as im re-working the car.

Well another few hours last night and the sound deadening is slowly being removed.

Blisters are appearing and im generally missing the lovely weather.

I went to Croft at weekend so no work was done, I also had to postpone the paintshop until this coming Saturday.

Progress will spread quickly then after next weekend.

As it stands today... I managed to sneak to garage today for 5hours.

What rot !

There is not a single hole anywhere.
Had some surface corrosion around the seatbolt hole on the rear bench that sanded off.

The manky looking bit at front of the footwell is that blooooody underseal which is yellowy takes forever to shift.
