Xr_bass - crash

Postby xr_bass on Fri Aug 07, 2009 4:55 pm

Hello people

Thought it was about time I started a thread about my car and then people will recognise it when I turn up for shows

Should have started this along time ago really but here goes

Bought my car just over a year and a half ago it was a completely standard fiesta mk3.5 1.1 Quartz

I’ve acquired allot of parts before I got the car plus I have another car that is off the road that I keep pinching bits from. The first week I got it I got it up on the stands ready to be lowered. 60mm at the back 35-40mm at the front. And then it was a trip to my other car to steal the recaro seats and harness out of it I also tinted the rear indicators :D

LOWERED :D

Then it was time for some free performance

FITP '08 with new wheels and FRST brakes

Then I got attacked by the amber brigade and new wheels

Then my engine decided to have a domestic with my oil control rings so it broke them and chucked out loads of blue smoke. Rather than rebuild I took a trip to ANDYFLOSS's
Image

Time to swap engine. With a hand from a few mates

Fog lights Fitted

Empty car parks + snow = GREAT FUN

Genuine Ford spot lamp brackets with instructions and fitting kit :D

2.0L ZETEC awaiting fitment still…

I then finally got round to taking the FRST bonnet off of my other car and moping it because it was pink. Got it looking nice and fitted to my car. Wish I didn’t now as I crashed my car a week later  bent the bonnet, and front panel, smashed a fog light, and cracked the number plate and bumper

As it stands now
Fitted 1.6S bumpers with overiders and fitted spot lamps and another set of wheels this time 14” RS accessories 3 spokes :D also fitted new Cobra clubman bucket seat. And rear spoiler

Sidelight in indicator mod. Not to every ones taste but I prefer the ambers :D

Thats about it so far, comments and suggestions accepted :D

Looked good at Fordfair mate, proper clean! Get the rust sorted and the 2Litre then you'll be sorted...

By the way I took your advice and got a machine polisher, it does the job! :Q

I prefer it with the round spotlamps. Get it back to how it was before the crash :) Looked good!
