As a summary -

Needs some wider tyres on the front as grip was lacking, yet it still acclerates hard at the same time.
I have 205/50/15 AO48R's on the rear and thats working well along with rear brakes. Didnt lock up nor did the back feel light.

Fronts though 195/50/15 888's are to be upgraded to same as rear.
( I have these! God knows why i didnt get them fitted )


Front pads though let me down though as the brakes werent as sharp or giving me any feedback so I was braking far earlier than hoped.

BUT enough feedback to sort it all.

Toying with ds3000 for fronts or carbotech xp8/10...

do you think the yoko's are better than the 888's?

dont think Im planning on taking the Fiesta to Ford Fair mate, as Im doing the event at Tockwith with the RSOC on the 1st of August

But I think theres a few of us coming down in a mini bus to see the day, just like we did for Combe , 800 miles round trip, but well worth it

Yes, 888's went sloppy after about 3-4 laps front end just lost its grip.

Im all kited out with the AO48's now all round HI FIVE!

I tried them both at Combe Ao48rs are awesome!

All is going ok with it its currently missing a wing though and waiting for some carbon bits for the dash to be made.

Few weeks and it will be back on the road.

No mate, its all to original spec so ready for concourse.

I wont compete, but it just means the car is how I want it. Will prob only use once twice a year....

I shall run with a "road" tyre and try and get in the 11s on those, then its fit the drag slicks and see what I can get.

The issue with the slicks is where they have 8psi in them you have to hold the Revs @ 7000+ then side step clutch otherwise it bogs down or stalls.

New wings are fitted and painted along with the bumper which has been re-painted and the carbon splitter re-fitted.

Standard headlights are now in place and the car was started on Saturday (first time since October)
All sounded sweet


Next stage is the car to be checked over on the dyno and then its off to the painters.
