HI ya, i just got ma first pair of M3 door mirrors (also purchased the plates for them) the only problem, the base plates for the M3's dnt have a thread for me to screw into, the the screw hole is hudge compared to the mk 3 wing mirrors screws.
Do i need to us self tappers.
Ps im sure the base plate is correct for the model of the car.

Would have thought you'd got some self tappers with the base plate?
Don't do them up too tight, if you're base plate is any like mine, its not the closest fit to the door and you wouldn't wanna crack it
