Introducing myself, new Fez owner.
Hi,
I'm Victoria like to be known as Vix or Binno and I live in the South East of England, I came across this site whilst searching google and coming from fiestaguides.
Currently I own a 1.2 sporting Punto but my partner has bought a Fiesta 1.1 mk3, and I am just here really for the advice because I help do most of the cars up that my partner gets. Previously my other half has owned red top calibra's, 16v calibra's and rover 220 tomcat. I've previously owned a Calibra and now I have my Punto mk1. Just here really for some advice and to share a project thread. The car we picked up has been owned by a 50 year old lady who has looked after it well there are no dents or rust, it's dark grey in a colour the only thing that lets it down is a lacquer peeling bonnet, and it just needs a thoroughly good clean. I believe we are starting to debadge the car, dark smoke tint the rears, change the bonnet and bumpers, perhaps get an arch kit, and get it sat lower on some 40mm springs. First it's destripping any stickers and badges on the car.
I'll get some piccies up soon.

Re: Introducing myself, new Fez owner.
Cheers guys and girls. I always feel like the only one apart from one or two with the other forums I'm on.
I'll have to get some pictures of our other cars, and previous cars for your input and then when I get some pictures of the Fez I'll post them up.
Remember it's not mine it's my partners but I'll be doing most of the work on it, as she is pretty clueless when it comes to moving stuff/changing stuff.

I noticed that when i first read it, but i didn't think it made the slightest difference, so never commented on it

Re: Introducing myself, new Fez owner.
Yeah both female.
Both a couple.
Anyway unfortunately the fez has a lot of rust under the front bumper and rear bumper.
So going to sell the car to one of our friends friends, and in replace my partner is buying a 98' Escort GTI, which is standard.
Any advice for the escorts?
I am however looking to get a nice looking fez in the future, possibly a turbo but have to keep this punto at the moment.
Both a couple.

The punto's aren't bad little cars, if you don't count the breakdowns and trying to set themselves on fire (long story)

I'm only an enthusiast - having helped a mate of mine with his a number of times, I do know how to work on them, seemingly unreliable though!

An old girl friend had a new Punto, might still have it. I was too scared to touch anything on the dash incase it fell off. It all felt so cheap and fragile!

Yeah, I can sympathise with that - also my mates one decides when it wants him to use power steering, and the airbag light has been on for a while now
