Long shot but do any of you know where i can get an insurance policy that lets me drive my dads xr2i? Cheapest ive been quoted is £1650 and i was just wondering if there was anywhere cheaper? Im 17 btw and have my own car and insurance policy.

does your dad not have insurence on it then ? you vant have one car covered by more than one policey

na he doesnt yet. he braught it cheap off a mate and he wants me to be able to use it occasionally to get to work while im working on my 205.

try HIC, they did a stonker of a qoute on my 300zx :)

too young for HIC, try Bell or (hate to say it) Admiral...

btw - avoid 10 month accelerators, they count for nothing at all...

I was with Premium Choice who are part of Zurich the first year I was driving. Was quoted £1089 for the first year on a 1.3 Ford KA :)
