Hi

Insurance is VERY personal on your circumstances, why not try for quotes before asking on a forum
I payed 1400 fully comp at 19 years old on a fiesta si in a reasonable post code

tip: stick your mum or dad on your insurance as a second driver and it should knock it down £50-£100

It's not going to be cheap mate because of your age. Until you have a couple of years NCB under you insurance companies see you as a huge risk and the premiums reflect this.

My brother paid stupid amounts to insure his Nova 1.2 at 17 (something daft like £1600). Shop around and you should get cover but expect it to be over £1k. Do pass plus as that should help bring your premium down a bit.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience

Mine was 1200 TPFT @ 17, with pass plus with Norwich Union

TBH why come on here and ask what its going to be? We cant tell you, and you must have the sense to know that at 17 insurance on a 'sporty hatchback' its not going to be cheap
