Ok, ive been bored for the last hour or so looking at rat style cars, and most of them seem to have litterally no suspension, and its fudgekin mad lol.

Basically, i was wondering how low a fezzy can go - basically on standard steelies with standard shocks and no springs. Has anyone done it? lol

Im so tempted to get a set of standard shocks and steelies just to see how low my car can go.. just for a laugh.. i wouldnt care about tyre wear and damage to the shocks and s**t because they would just be crappy standard stuff, i would do it with my spax setup... but its a bit costly to replace lol.

mines prety low but not quite that bad.

Lowest car ive seen where i live was a cavalier which was like a cigarette packet size from the ground.

haha ye mine was down over 100mm on the coilies, only drove it a few times while i was learning tho

my jetta was down 180mm and my golfs down about 120-130mm

duno bout my beetle but that dragged its ass too

my old golfs wer pretty slammed too

p.s. the golf above with woodtrim wheels isnt on standard shocks or even golf coilovers, no air or hydros ther either.

its had extensiv work to get it that low, its on some kind of jap car coilovers, with all of the drivetrain including even the wishbone mounts and the chassis raised

this thread has taken off a bit!

The reason i started it was because i do love the rat look of cars, if done properly to certain cars - mostly proper old cars. Its like euro styling but for the cheap skates haha.

But yea, i was proper hyper looking at ratty cars and i was addicted to it and wanted to do it to a spare car - which i dont have, so i thought about getting standard stuff to piss about with temporarily lol.

But im past the phase of doing it to my car, and am looking for a spare cheap/free car to f**k up haha.
