Help major problem or is it?
I ws tightneing the bolt that hold the rocker arm down on the head whrer the tappets are and as i was tightneing it the bolt was threading it started to get tight then suddenley the bolt snapped of with ahlf the thread what should i do?will i need a new head or can the rest of the thread be unscrewed and a new one bought?any ideas folks

ooh buggar. well do u have some thread of the bolt sticking out still?

Rocker Arm
Yeah there still a bit of thread however when u stick the rocker arm on there and the thread goes through the rocker arm hole the thread does not stick out far enough from the rocker arm for the bolt to catch a thread ??Any ideas Folks?

Remove the stud - stud extractor, mole grips, heat... if you're not comfortable doing the work, get an engineer to do it.
Alternatively, I have a very, very good CVH XR2i/FRST head in Essex if you'd like to make me an offer on it.
