how much will it cost to get my zetec head skimmed&pressure tested?will it need to be stripped(cams/tappets/valves)? do the cams need to be removed to take the head off? i didnt think they did but haynes manual says to remove cams and tappets before removing head
so thought i'd check first!!

skimmed and tested anywhere from £20 - £50.
And yes all the guff needs to be removed for it to be tested.
As for cams, dunno not taken a zetec head off. But I would imagine you can leave them in to remove the head, but taking them out makes it lighter.
