Me mate's looking for an automatic gearbox for an '88 1.1 Fysta. Asked me to check out here, but I'm sure 1.1 auto drivers are few and far between!!!!!!

Cheers M8, its an auto now, just knackered, they need a new box, and can't find one cheap enough! Its for his sister who can't drive a manual!!!<br>Not for me!!!!!!

To replace a defective unit,or to convert from manual to auto? In both cases, the cars are getting quite cheap now and you might be better off buying a whole car which has failed an MoT/been accident damaged/rusted to bits! I know re-con Fiesta auto boxes are damn expensive!<br><br>If no joy, then converting to manual isn't difficult and the above applies - get a donor car.<br><br>hope this helps!
