right well update time as i have been extremely quiet recently i have been very busy the fiesta now has a new heart a zetec turbo.
spec:
Area Six valve springs
2.1 bottom end
metal headgasket
Wossner Pistons
Arp Bolts
gt26 Turbo

engine is now fitted !


52mm stack gauge fitted for the boost !







as you can see the engine is in place al timed up and bolted to my ib5 gearbox deisel ratios and a lsd fitted also i painted the gear box silver more pictures to come. ive also given the engine bay a freshen up sprayed it gloss black doesnt look very shiny as its a bit dusty from being sat for 3 months.

fitted my oil cooler with the thermastat sandwich plate !

i went to fords and bought a brand new header tank so i will be selling my alloy one if any one is intrested pm me.

also my mate had finished making my carbon fibre spark plug cover yes it is home made and looks gourgoues, what are peoples thoughts on the red cam cover i am not too sure !

both inlet manifold and exhaust manifold are on including fuel rail injectors fuel lines all connected uprated escort cosworth fuel pump fitted ! the inlet manifold is a focus rs inlet with focus rs injectors using a mondeo 2.0ltr throttle body.

fitted turbo with a new ford focus rs gasket between turbo and manifold i will have to relocate the radiator and intercooler forward as the turbo is very big.

i have taken out the engine bay wiring loom and re fitted it taking out all the unuseable connectors and wire and fireproof braided all the wiring made my own injector loom so it looks nice and tidy with the new inlet.

my dad will be making the brackets for the alloy radiator and inter coooler next week so will be fitting that.

then i decided it was time to freshen up the fiesta so iam mid way through painting the fiesta at my unit with help of my mate wasnt very many repairs to do couple of rust spots and delocked the drivers door now.







thats the last weeks progress couple of hours each evening, and today the first look of paint has been applied i havent chabge the colour like i said its just a freshen up. did all the door and boot shuts today. carnt do the shell till next weekend now

all arches and bumpers and jacking point covers,wing mirrors and spoiler are all primed and wet flatted with 800's ready for paint



my mate is also going to be making me a carbon spolier which should be ready for when the car is back on the road we managed to paint in 4 degrees celcius today

also ive bought a new runaround that has been stoping me working on the fiesta as it keeps breaking already had a new motor put in after a week of ownership

hang on a min, ive just noticed you have the later ondeo/escort spec plastic inlet manifold on it, how you got that on? i thought they confere with the brake servo bar

thank you for the comments guys no more to update as the snow has halted the diy paint job as when i put on my keroscene space heater the snow melts on the roof and it starts dripping inside

Jonyb4 - Its actually a Focus RS inlet manifold glad some one has noticed this ive had no issues fitting it at all.

well the car has been running on megasquirt for the last 2 years so will still be using that as my close friends builds and sells them

centre caps where bought brand new from compomotive direct excellent service! after about 20 phone calls and not getting anything back from carbon delight about them doing me a set of carbon ones like lucas i gave up and just got these ones

Very true, i think if they were any other colour it just wouldnt have look anywhere near as good
