I'll be there with the fezza. As long as it works!!

What's the score with parking? First come first serve for the car park?

Well I was interested in coming to have a look round, but given that I can't see any where else to park I guess there's not much point...

Tom, this is a bit like Ford Freaks booking a stand for FITP and the FCGB putting you in the car park. You cannot offer with one hand and take it away with the other.

not to be picky tom but i fully agree with what andie has posted, as how can you open the event up to other clubs to then tell them that they cant park in the carpark but have to park outside on the side of the road.

it is going to be a ford night at ace cafe we are having our meet there and as others have stated on other forums being part of a club does not come in to it when something is happening at ace cafe. we are only allowed 50 cars in the carpark which were booked within about 10min of the event being advertised .
as it stands now we have members in main carpark and some non members aswell i had got it wrong in my previous post above .

this is a our birthday bash to say thanks to the people that have shown support and helped us out over the year.

from what i remember from previous pub meets that you have done where people turned up from other clubs they were parked over in the corner out the way????

we just advertising it on forums so other people can come along and see some of out members cars. this is not a car show like fitp dont see what your problems are???

if you have a problem then please contact me direct i beleave you have my details still

thanks

theres no problem mate as i was just agreeing with what andie had posted has tom quite rightly posted that the car park was reserved and for saying that we put non members in the corner of the carpark is quite wrong as the guys that turned up wanted to be parked together in the carpark plus i also had no idea that they were coming as they were invited by someone else, on another note wasnt it you that attended our fcgb bbq meet with performance ford a few weeks ago at newmarket, i didnt see you thrown in the corner anywhere mate at the meet.

plus on a lasting note we didnt invite any other clubs to our pub meet

end of.

Either way, I was, by far THE BEST 'pub meet' I have been too. With no childish bickering between officials, a focus on fun and entertainment made it a night to remember. I cant believe the epic turn out. I went on the roof with Chris from Performance Ford (yes, they turned up) for some shots and it was then that it hit me how big it was. Fords as far as the eye could see, lining both sides of the road, the car park so full you couldnt get a bicycle throught, a sea of tyre smoke from the round about antics, and an atmosphere like no other.
