Hahaa, then travel America, that would be fun! LOL!

Dunno about any roof design to he honest... The Fiesta is making me so skint at the moment. It's the last thing on my mind. Damn thing!

Bits needed for a Fiesta 1996 Mk3.5

Standard rear lights (In good condition)
Left and right lower arms (Preferred brand new)
Passenger side CV boot gaiter (Preferred brand new)

And if someone could provide me with some standard steels with legal tread tyres for my MOT that would be great as I have stretched tyres and there not allowed! Just need to borrow a set of four then I'll give them back.

Does anyone know if I can get free windscreen repair aswell? As my insurance with Churchill are charging me £80 for a new windscreen. Usually it's free so abit gutted there, HELP!

Many thanks,

James

I've just always thought stretched tyres weren't allowed in an MOT. I went to Central Tyres and they said they won't go through an MOT. So I dunno...? :-?

Are the standard lights in good condition? If so I'll have them off your hands. No cracks or melts in the plastics?

they are allowed i think the actual tread of the tyre must be in the arch. something like that but a proper mot person who knows what he's doign wouldnt fail them unless they break the requiremnts of wheels. some wil do u more for the poke than anything else. did on my old dished wheels

The lights are spot on mate, i'll dig them out tomorow to double check and pm ya.

THe way i see stretched tyres and the mot, there is no reason for rejetion that mentions tyre stretch. Plus if they fail for a small amount of poke then they are miserable baxtered!! But again, im not sure there are any RFR's for this either.

Ahh fair enough. I'll look into it more. There new tyres, and there's no poke at all so they should pass. Well, cut springs are definatly not allowed. Ok mate let me know... :)

yeah too right, a top tint heated front screen is expensive, when i asked about one, i was told about £300, they didnt look it up just said about £300, so that could be more or less, but heated screens are norm over £200 easy

Hi guys,
seen a pic on here of the old fez and it had the clear rear lights. I have a set on my fez but I have been told they r illegal and won't pass an MOT cuz they aint got reflectors in. Just wondered if you or any1 had any probs with clear lights on an MOT?

:( :-?

Any help is appreciated, Cheers all

Postby EUFez on Tue Sep 14, 2010 8:07 pm

Yes - I'm selling my RS alloys for abit of money for the MOT! But after the MOT I'm getting brand new Mk3 steelies banded!

Banded 7.5's at the front and maybe 8.5's at the rear, if not then 8's! But can't wait...

Image

Silver as above with a green lip, gunna be epic.

There's some guy that makes fibre glass arches on a Ford forum, gunna buy some and have them riverted in and smoothed over, then painted! As far as things go this is the plan, and will come to action very soon. WATCH THIS SPACE! :aviator:
