Minstral :needs to be lower :bonkers:
good height james, be good with the alleys on then sort the stance

put si spats on front and rear if they poke at the rear as well

Naaa man. I'd like the front lower though. The rear can go much lower than the front. But... I've highered it abit now. The exhaust silencer box was pissing out sparks everywhere. The fuel tank was 2 inches off the floor, not good at all. But don't worry, I'll be rolling like this to shows. :Q

Allycats I'm trial fitting tomorrow and I'll get some pictures up. Until then, I'm awaiting some Si spats for the rear so I don't get questioned by the Policeeeee.

Hense the sparks...

If you can see, the silver fuel tank almost touching the floor, BAD!
Image

Last pictures of it MEGA LOW!
Image
Image

Doing a service on it very soon, oil change, brakes etc. Plus I've been inspired by Danny's clean up of his engine, to do a clean up myself and spray a few bits Hammerite silver. :D Oh and abit of bad news... I have another hole in my sill. Time to replace I think. Far as I know Ford don't supply them anymore? So I will just have to look on eBay for some sill skins for Fanny and actually look after them this time. You learn from your mistakes LOL

the reason vw's can go so low is that most of the stuff underneather like the exhaust doesnt stick out like in the pic of yr silencer. the undersides are almost flat .
i just need some rear coilovers now :D

You also need to get the chassis notched so the driveshafts clear :Q

i love the euro scene but taking a bit out of the chassis i think is to much, and i would never suffer performance to go lower in taking the arb out. partly why i sold the gti as i had it to at the right height in my eyes but the arb was sitting on the cassis

Dunno what colour to spray the centres?

Awaiting comments from Jony and the gang... Can't wait.

The fronts look great, but the offset on the rear just looks completely wrong imo. Even arch spats won't sort that out :(

I reckon the wheels on the zs would look just right on yours though!

I agree with you all totally. I've looked at it from all angles, and quite frankly, it looks awful.

BIG, FAT, FAIL! Their up for sale now funny enough. LOL

You learn from your mistakes I guess. Even with arches thrown over the tread, it would still look weird.

So now I'm confused in what I want. What to buy, what colour etc. Confused BIGTIME! Not good... :-? :oooh:
