Ford Fiesta mk1 1978 rs1800 zetec running gear


Well testing the water here as it's very very reluctant that i'm having to do this but due to ill health i'm not able to drive fiesta much and kind of jumped into buying it at the start even though i knew wasn't well.

Mk1 fiesta 1978 L model

Engine bay
Fiesta mk3 rs1800 130ps engine and gearbox conversion carried out from the FIESTA FARM which is totally standard apart from air filter and exhaust,
full engine bay seem welded,
has panels welded in from one previous owner for fitting bonnet pins,
oil catch tank,
external fuel pump and fuel filter,
fitted rubber mounts on fuel pump to stop the noise,
2.3" down pipe back exhaust system

Wheels & Suspension
Brand new jbw rs 4 spokes 7"x13" with new knankang tyres 175/50/13
koni suspension all round,
fully poly bushed throughout,
adjustable panhard rod,
rear upper strut brace,
front lower brace,

Other stuff
has rally design quick shift fitted
2 front rs turbo 90 spec seats,
nardi torino dished steering wheel
mk2 xr2 front brakes
mk2 xr2 rear beam and brakes
mondeo servo

the shell its self has been resprayed a good while ago, its well known on the forum and a couple of forum members have owned it, ziebarted shell, seam welded bay, floor and arches got fresh lick of paint only 2 months ago, chrome skinny bumpers,genuine mudflaps, front opening 1/4 windows, Front panels and 2 front wings replaced at some point, has the rear panel bulge for spare wheel and as far as i know the rest of the shell is original panels, shell very clean and solid.

I have prob missed a few stuff

MOT until nov 13
TAX is up end next month (april 13)
