If you are looking into your stereo gear mate have a word with bassboy

Probably easier to get in contact with him over on PassionFord

Thanks mate, but I'm not into SPL/loads of bass. I'm looking for excellent sound quality.

He will be able to sort that out for you as well

Have a look at some of the builds he has done on here and PassionFord, they are not all designed for loads of bass

I have heard a set nothing special really if its good quality sound you are after then i go for kenwood dual mag components any day over anything. They are not tinny if thats how you say it top end and carry good quality lows. I have got some very very expensive epos at home and the quality of the kenwoods is not far off if i am honest. Make sure they are the dual mags though and not standard kenwood components as there uis a huge difference both in performance and price. I think my kenwoods were around the 250 mark per pair. I have a set front and rear with a 10 inch alpine sub and the sounds is first class

Thanks mate, they sound good. I've now decided to go for a set of Seas Lotus Reference series in 6.5" as I read several reviews of the Focals and they all say the sound is quite brite, almost sharp, so I've gone for something a bit smoother and warmer sounding.
