shame the gearbox was costing me so much time and terminals had a look at the data logs, every gear change was over 0.8sec's ,thats 1 second lost on the throttle !! doesnt sound like much but i was pulling 123mph in 12ish seconds so thats 10mph'ish ever second !!!

f**k it theres allways next time ,happy it is making some good power and didnt brake

that little blue mk2 fezz was mint and car of the show imo

They are slow gear changes! And low boost! Bring on the slick shifts and the sort of boost it can run A promising starting point once again matey! What ECU are you on? I'm guessing you could do with a bit of help from it in the lower gears if you're going to start running 1.5+ bar, or will you just use your skillful trainer?

ecu is ms2 extra, i have a two stage boost switch on the steering wheel but my trainer's not to bad lol.

after giving the car a hammering for two days at central day and a lot of hard road use the gearbox mount was not in good shape
so i set about building my own mount . ive had a batch of void bushes made up and steel sleeves ect heres some pic's just needs a lick of paint.

for some gay reason it wont link the pic fitted to the gearbox will try after.

thanks people will be making one for the engine side soon . drove the car today and its miles better.
also having a new rear can made for the car the one thats on it now is 6" round by 16" long and its way to loud for road use the new one is 6"x12" oval 24" long !!! should be much better
also took off the bonnet spacers was getting gassed in the car

will have pic's of the can mid week.

its about 370hp i would say mate and yes its on the head i ported and only running 19psi so its doing the bizz
when i sort the box i will fit my new actuator and up the boost to 25-26psi and over 400hp

im not doing the box lol ,getting a local trasmission place to re build it but from 3 different mtx boxes

well the monday after central day saw the end of my daily car was to unreliable lol so it got scrapped have been using the fezz ever since still gets hammerd hard every day if the breaks i will have a two hour train trip to work and back

done loads of little jobs but not worth telling you lot about .

its going in for its mot on tues morn so thought it was about time i changed the rear bumper .
when i bought the shell it came with a chavy mk4 rear with a big gay splitter so that was binned off for the mk3 rear bumper but with the number plate on it and no light it would fail the mot .

just fitted this rear but cut a bit about 4" by 26" off the bottom as my new exhaust sitts on the wrong side lol.
and fitted 4 new toyo t1rs not as good as the 888s but better than i thought . with the miles im doing week in week out and the price of the 888s these days i pulled them off.

looks good mate, how are the mounts holding up to use? what boxes are you using to make the new mtx? any idea of the 6 speed mondeo diesel ratios/fitment or are they the same as the sty170?

mounts are great focus diesal final drive with my focus rs gear set.

i know mate but its just what a few of us call it lol.

the track rod ends are 14 months old

two new ones on at the weekend

i hate mot's mate always think its going to be bad.

i have the diesal box but havent got a car to run round in the the mo so cant pull mine off the road to take the box out .

but using it every day has made me sort all sorts of little jobs that i can never be arsed doing

ill be at ford fair doing the 0-60 again got a 5.03 to beat

then mabe a rwyb not long after
