can i ask what pistons you are using for what C/R? What other mods have you done to the engine? Removed the VVCT?

ah ok, yeah I see you changed the head having read the thread properly! Are you getting more power with the Blacktop than with the ST170 head?

Im going to be fitting a blacktop into an xr2i and wondered how the engine mount was fitted as its the side bolting wrap around mount? Would you be able to provide us some pics to show how the mount is fitted to the chassis please?

Re: fiesta st170 turbo
clutch is the easiest job mate, bit of mk5 bulkhead sticthed into your bulkhead and a mk5 peddle box. only bit i havent fully worked out is the shafts for length etc as the box isnt in car yet.
are you running mk3.5 hubs and shocks as you will need to to get the focus shafts into the hubs.
only bit i cant do on mine myself is the mounts as i want them looking factory with nice welds ad mine are also a bit agricultual looking.

Re: fiesta st170 turbo
well its time i put a pic of the bottom arms up for all to see ! these should stop me from pulling into both lanes on the 1/4mile lol
,
they have two 22,000lb high angular load bearings and a 33,000lb race rod end bearing
with plenty of + and - camber adjustment in them .
will be back at the pod for usc at the end of the month for a low 12.
