J114 BSA and J666 FRS is the same car. J114 BSA is the original reg and J666 FRS was a private plate. i now own J114 BSA and what a bag of .. i bought it via ebay as a 'quick to patch up and get back on the road.'

nope, the ad should of been advertised as for spares only and scrap the shell, serious rot, shxt body repairs and painting. (15years panelbeating/paint - i know)

currently rebuilding the complete off side inner sill, front off side inner wing, off side subframe mount area, two front wings, both doors skimming and rear quarters (full of rot and filler), needs wishbones, track rod ends, cv boots, shocks and springs, bushes, brakes, jeez why didn't i just back off when i was loading it on the trailer...

Stumbled across this thread when googling a registration number in an old file I had stumbled upon.

Sorry to say RS1800i K659HAR in pacifica blue was stolen around 02/04/2003.

I only had her for a week and even though she had a cat 1 alarm / immobiliser fitted, she was lifted onto a low loader from The Festival Leisure Park, in Basildon, Essex. Bought her as my RS2000 16v in the same colour had been off the road for around 6 months. The RS2000's still not back on the road yet (10 years+ later), but is all new, with the only original panels left on her from the factory being the drivers door, and the boot floor pimsle.

Eventually the RS1800i was found in Dagenham parked outside of a block of flats with all the interior missing. The interior was mint, so I guess she was stolen to order. They wrote her off as the trim was NLA from Fords

Only car I've ever had that's been written off. Cheque from the insurers arrived 04/07/03.

Hi all, ive just purchased my first RS 1800, one of the few RS cars ive not previously owned, registration is J722 SFL its an early one in diamond white, its been sitting in a field since 2006 without moving , so a bit of work required! im in it for the long haul though so it will be bare shelled & totally rebuilt, i will be needing lots of advice! Bit of an update for one of the cars on the list

My old Ash Black RS1800 (94WH2670 (Ireland)) might be no more. I while back I tried to track it down and find out how it is doing these days. There wasn't much info, but one person said that as far as he knew it had been broken for parts. I don't know why anyone would do that because it would be worth more as a whole than in parts, But that was the last I've heard of it.
