Those tweeks for FireFox have been about for ages, I tried them a while ago and i couldnt see much difference to be honest. :-?

I downloaded Google Chrome today and that is a lot quicker. I quite like it. I want to use it for all the web apps I use at work so will give it a proper go through tomorrow.

:)

First thing I do on a new install of Firefox. Very good tweaks - with these tweaks, Firefox is faster than Chrome or Safari

Does Chrome come with all the other sh!te from Google though?

MY step Dad got my Mum a new laptop for her birthday (today) because she's always wanted one. It came pre-installed with Google Desktop sh!te, Google Toolbar on IE, and all sorts of other crap she doesn't need. I'll be un-installing all of it later on and downloading the new FireFox for her as opposed to IE.

I liked Firefox alot, when it worked. It didn't look too different, and it didnt feel too different either. Always been a fan though and I know I'll end up downloading the latest version and re-installing. :aviator:

I tried installing Firefox 3 but it wouldn't met me install it because i needed a window newer than 2000 to run it, even though my laptops running XP?

Strange :-?

Are you running the installer in compatibility mode?

Just downloaded Chrome to try and on first impressions it does seem vastly quicker than Firefox or IE. :)
My name is Alex. I used to have a Capri. I don't anymore. But I'm still called Capri.
