Ebay question

Postby Dazza on Sun Jan 10, 2010 1:28 pm

Hey folks,

Im selling a car on ebay, now on friday it was up to £600 - I went away for the weekend but due to circumstances had to come back saturday, just checked my listing and its now on £165 - Somehow, alot of the bids have been deleted with no explanation why

Why would this happen?

Someone will have retracted their bid, loads of reasons why, maybe they just changed their mind?

Pisses you off when it happens but nowt you can do about it.

Yeah I would have thought ebay would have contacted me about it! Only one day left now!

It was 2 people that were bidding aganist each other so they must have both canceled bids (or more likely, are the same person)

3 people retracted

2 of them I believe are the same person - Say the listing was changed, it wasnt, I added a note saying I want a £20 deposit via paypal, one of these people said that was fine through a ebay msg.

Anything I can do to report them?

I did think that but other people are bidding on it now, genuine people some that Iv spoke to on the phone. I'll see how it goes but am sure awhile ago you could only retract a bid if the seller agree'd
