D reg (87 I think), White, totally standard. 90,000 miles, runs well, good tyres (on steel rims!). MoT June (can put 12 months on if it's still for sale next month), Tax Sept. £300 ono for quick sale - space needed urgently!

It runs well, no rattles. It gives the standard CVH puff of smoke at startup (valve stem oil seals - If you're interested, I'll do them (I was going to anyway, but haven't got round to it yet!)
Internally, the engine is pretty good (very little bore wear, doesn't lose any oil past the rings) with only a small build up on the head (pretty good indeed for the mileage!)
How do I know? I pulled the head off for a look! Naturally, I used a decent head gasket and new bolts when I put it back on...

The interior is in very good condition (even I was surprised - no tears, fag burns or scratches); the panels are fine, just a couple of rust scabs (not bad for an 87 Fester!) - one on the front wing and one on the front valance. All panels are straight and dent free - the original paint is still shiny!

thats with sun alliance insurance i think but its in my dads name with me as the main driver. it took me about 30 insurance companies to even get a bloody quote, most of 'em wouldn't even go near it.
That xr2 sounds like its well worth more than 300 quid, why is it sooo damned cheap?!?

Its all well and good having it in your dads name but when you go to get it in your own name it will still be high cos the ncb will be your dads not yours.
I would have it for spares but i haven't got anywhere to keep it - sorry!

It's so damned cheap because I want shot of it - I've got no space for it. It's parked on the neighbours drive at the moment. The other 4 cars we've got don't help either!
The £300 is because I want to get rid of it quickly, and because I normally sell cars for what I bought them for (give or take a few quid)...
