Great stuff, the bodyshop seemed to have taken pride in their work which is nice to see! Not many people would bother putting soundproofing back down over a repair let alone spraying under the carpet!

Thanks for the comments
Bought a Koni suspension kit so i've to fit that this weekend then take car to bodyshop a week on saturday. Then done.
As for more pics, i don't think i'll be able to get any up until early october. I've no internet connection at home due to house move and i'm off to lanzerote for a fortnight in a couple of weeks. Can't wait.

yeh i know mate. I would have done earlier but i'm having to run new wires to the back right speaker and haven't finished it yet. There's a short somewhere and everything is in bits
I really like what they've done with the interior plastics compared to what was done before. But i know it won't be to everyones taste.

yeah but it's nice to see something different. and white and green seems like a good combo. bit like red and green with a frst. (well imo anyway) thats why im thinking sod it and might be getting a mk4 as not too many people have modded them much yet and with some morettes on and a nice bumper you can make em look tons better

I thought i'd revive this thread basically to sing the praises of Spray and Bake in Barnsley.
What's happend is when i've got the car back home there have been a few minor blemishes/faults that i've noticed in the paint work. Anyway to cut a long story short Spray and Bake are going respray the whole car again to ensure proper colour match etc. Obviously i'm chuffed to bits with this as most places would (IMO) tell me where to go or bodge it.
So a big thanks to Spary and Bake. I'm looking forward to picking the car up the middle of next week and it just goes to show that some firms still do value their customers.
Thanks
Dave

Thanks for the comments peeps. I'll get loads of pics tomorrow. Have been cleaning the interior tonight but its too dark to get any shots of it. Here's a couple for now
I managed to fix the headlight problem thankfully and now have some brakes but the tiny disks look s**t behind the wheels.
May take it for MOT tomorrow too.

So whats happened? they've re-sprayed the whole car again in a different colour? if so, are they stripping it to a bare shell again and starting from scratch?
Looks mint anyway

They've done it all again mate in diamond white. When it was originally finished they found a bleb in the roof. They painted the roof again but it was a different colour to the tailgate (bit yellowy). They eventually decided to do the whole car again.

No, its ok mate
Full respray. They took all the glass out, rubbers etc, used a black guide coat, flatted it all back down then repainted all the car from the same pot of paint. Its a better finish this time than when they did it first time around.

Thanks Dave.
Not sure about the dash glare. I did tell them about that but they said it would be ok so we'll have to wait and see. I think i may attend FITP 2005.
Did you get your car sorted? I've been having a garage clear out and found an amal valve. Do you still need one? You can have it if you do.
Cheers

Neighbours and relatives have described the car as "very striking" Surprised really cos i thought older people would hate the inside. Happy with that
I'll try to get pics up of the exterior this week. I need to clean the wheels and sort a few bits and bobs out.
Thanks

As everyone has said thats a top job. Giving your RS a new lease of life rather than changing to a different shell cos it's rusting, is saintly in an automotive sense
I really like the colour of the seats and roof, different and well pulled off
We want more pics!
