Cutting OUT!
What the fu*k. A few weeks ago it started doing this but cleaned the connections in the ECU and has been fine since.
Now when it does it, it doesn't make a rapid clicking noise @ the relays like last time but still judders then the revs r all over the place when u leave it at idle b4 it cuts out.
Any1 hav any help?

PS: Last time the problem was a loose earth connection in the ECU which is why a relay was ticking with electrics on but wouldn't start!

THIS PROBLEM HAS REARED IT'S UGLY HEAD AGAIN!
An autoelectrician is looking at it Monday but it is tempremental and does it for no reason then works fine!
We still think it's a bad connection with the ECU as the engine coughed a bit when i shook it and the indicator lights came on (permanantly, not flashing) with electrics when it wasn't working, left it a minute then back as if nothing had happened.
The problem is finding it as it is suddenly fine again which means it will be hard for an auto-electrician to find it unless the problem is happening when he looks at it!

CHIP!
Im pretty sure it's the 195 Superchip i had plugged in.
Took it out and didn't hav any problems for 2 days then put it back in and started Kangarooing after 10 mins!
Now ive got the problem with the standard ECU cutting the ignition cause it can't handle the power, happens at around 5psi!!!
The fuel pump still infinatly primes but am having the wiring looked at tomorrow morning.

I read somewhere that a dodgy earth could permanently damage your ECU!

Yeah, can u explain this m8. I still suspect a funny Superchip though, jumped a few times tonight but never cut out, so gonna replace the fuel pump relay then it can only be the chip as it didn't happen with-out it.
Thanx 4 the help.
