Crank sensor dilema
Right chaps need to pick your brains
After a complete mare getting the old crank sensor out I need to replace it, I was kindly donated a good used sensor by Mr Mikeymikeyp but seems its different to the 1 I removed & the part numbers differ. My question is are the sensors management specific ie: Is an ofab sensor longer than the ofac? because I trial fitted the donor 1 & its alot shorter & further away from the flywheel. My local motor factors are very good & they say theres 2 different lengths of sensor listed, 1 is 40mm & the other is 52mm so as mine was longer ive ordered the 52mm, does the length make a difference? & no smart ar5e comments like.........no but thickness does

Re: Crank sensor dilema
aye mate its how far away it is from the flywheel so the further away it is the harder to get a position on it
Smart rs comment no 1, Mine might be the short one but it works well
