yep, had pretty much the whole of last week off. Still coughing and spluttering now

I recommend beechams flu plus - spaced me out a bit after a full days dose, but made it a whole lot better

2 weeks ago i got a cough, that turned into chest infection, still got a bit of a cough now but then i didnt bother going to doc's

but i must of spread it about as wifes got something now, 2 people wasnt at collage friday

anyway shaun, you prob got it from standing to close to some old dear writing the cheque out for you to sort her heating

I go in to so many people houses, that I'm bound to pick them up every so often.

I've been using Lemsip Max strenght Cold & Flu, they seem to help

We are, its a proven fact men suffer more than women where colds are concerned

god was clever you see, woman suffer once a month for a week, men really suffer every now and then with colds etc, its just a balance thats all

and jon, you got it right there, hes just waiting till end of month for his heating allowance then he will be on the mend

Ive got it, bloody pain in the arse, considering now whether to go into work, not because I dont want to, but because spreading it about could be rather disasterous due to where I work!

Lol, good for you I've had a cough for weeks that wont go away, and now I think I've caught a throat infection. The cold is coming out aswel now, haven't stopped sneezing or blowing my nose all morning and I cant breathe kinda

Does anyone else hate there Doctor?? Mine is a baby faced fluffy haired over paid under qualified sarcastic jumped up little ponce.

Last time I went to him with a cough he said "what are u doing with those then" pointing at my fags.... and I said ermm, well I was planning to smoke them.... he didnt like that much so he just kept on and on about how it was smoking that caused it, it wont go and itl get worse while I'm smoking, as I pointed out I've been smoking for four years and this is the first cough I've had since (apart from another bloody infection ). In the end I got fed up and said "ok thanks" sarcastically and walked out. Haven't been back since. Doctors are idiots, anyone could be a Doctor.

If they look like they're laying it on thick "go home and rest, drink lots of fluids", if they're dying "I think you should get checked out at the hospital just to be on the safe side". Job done!! Glad Doctors will now be inspected in the same way teachers and builders have to be.

Oh the throat infections landed, hope no-one has that to look forward to!! Not sure if I should be going to work with it .....
Incase anyones interested read an interesting article about the number of people phoning in sick is dropping more and more with the credit crunch, presumably because people are scared they'll lose their jobs as it is! Probably why this cold is getting round so quick!
