Clothing Sizes

Postby Tweek on Wed Mar 25, 2009 3:35 am

Why are they so bloody stupid. I can buy a T-shirt from one shop and be a 'small' but go to another and it's XL! WTF is the point in having sizes when they're no use! :x

vent over.

Oh yes. One of my all time biggest annoyances.

I've got size 7 shoes that I have to wear two pairs of socks with, size 7's and 8's that fit perfectly, and I had to take another pair of 7's back because there was no way my feet would fit into them.

T-shirts of the same size from one shop are fine, another too big. Shirts of the same size are fine in one place and too small in another.

I really don't know how something that's an actual specified length can vary so much, but even 31" leg varies about about 3 inches from different places. Same with waist size.

I've taken so much stuff back because it doesn't fit when it should.

It's all s**t.

This exact problem is what, normally, puts me off from ordering clothes online. You never know how its going to fit.

I hate how 'long' jeans (in Next for example) have bigger waists, even though they're both size 8 if I get long ones I have to wear a belt :(

Also I'm fairly sure women's clothes sizes are getting bigger, as in what was a 10 is now an 8.

Don't even get me started on shoes - I hate them with a passion!
