Shame, but he's correct - they do sell the strips in Halfords - I don't think Ford did a chrome strip themselves.

My 1.1 LX had "chrome" ones on as standard. Were pretty knackered though!

yeah get down your local scrapies theyll have plenty poplar plus's with them on :)

but, iirc think they are about 3inch short of covering the whole XR2/RS bumpers.
