Chatter or woosh?

Chatter or woosh?

Hi all,

I was wondering, I have a dump valve on my FRST making the traditional wooosh noise but have heard a few cars making more of a chatter. Am I correct in thinking this is due to the cars not having a dump valve at all or is there something I am not getting?

take the dump valve off (block the hole up) and you will have chatter :) how loud or high pitch it is will depend on the amount of boost you run and what induction hose/air filter you have :)
