Bulbs on dash...
Hey all as i was taking apart my dash the other day to put some new dials in i was wondering where i could get some different colour bulbs from(possibly red) that would fit there instead i popped down to maplin with the bulb and there all a bunch of idiots there and didnt no what it was ¬¬ so went up to halfords they had abit of a clue but still no look =[ just wondering if anybody on here knows where i could get bulbs from so i could change my dashboard lights to red rather than the standard greeny colour thanks =]

Re: Bulbs on dash...
the only problem with that is that there is a coloured filter mounted inside the clocks, you will have to remove that to change the colour, my brother did this and put in some blue LED's on his mk4 clocks in a mk3.5 it go's great with the rest of the interior as some of that is painted blue, but it wasn't done with bulbs the wiring was re done so that they are like wedged into place and hardwired in

I had the same problem mate
Speedo - Search ebay and your find a company that will do it... Simply remove the two speedo bults, push out the metal pins and you can get the bulb out of the plastic white holder then replace with bulb off ebay (abit of soildering or careful wire wrapping around the pins is nessesary). Also you may want to take the green filter off, but i found the bulb to be bright enough.
Clock - I beleive it's a T5. It should pop stright in, but you may want to take the green filter out of the clock... Just simply prise it apart...
Switches ETC.
