does the mk4/5 fit stright on?

Nope.

If you want a Mk4 or 5 back end you would be better off just buying a Mk4 or 5 Fiesta rather than baxtered a Mk3

no the boot lid fits straight on!

however you have to swap the light panals that hold in the lights by drilling out the welds then welding in the new ones then extending the lip around the boot at the bottom with a strip of metal then done
(maybe a bit of filler)
