Back-lit dials

Has anyone done this? The only person i know is zetec_Si.

Here's an old topic that he posted.

Just wondering if anyones done this, and if they have pictures. I'm going to get blue filter paper from Maplin tomorrow to replace the green filter in the dial lights.
But in the long run, I would much prefer to do back lit dials like this guy did.

I don't think anyone has made a proper guide on how to do it, with pics etc.. :)

tbh m8 they didnt look that blue so icahnged it to this now and look better

So...the metal standard dials are slightly transparent?
