Tillman Uhrmacher 'On The Run' estimated time to total unusabilty: 2 weeks...

Another perfectly good tune killed stone dead...

Also happened to Dirt Devils - Drill, Barthezz - On The Move, Warrior - Warrior etc. All good stuf then ruined

TJ: http://www.htfr.com are ok, tho they take ages to deliver for me. Juno are by far the best, also dotvinyl.com

WHy is it ruined if people play it?

This is what i dont understand about Latest music etc,

If its underground (I.e. - new, and not marketed and making moderately less than fcuk all money) it is a top tune dead good etc

but if people pick it up, like what they hear, and then play it, It suddenly becomes a "CHEESEY CHART TUNE" and it is ...erm... i dunno cheesey

but this shouldnt be the case? :bonkers:

nah mate good music never becomes cheesey if its released - merely commercial.

Its not always bad its jsut it takes it away from the minority who really understand and appreciate it and becomes within the reach of muppets who play it everywhere really loud etc

muzza, in answer to ur questions. tunes shudnt be 'ruined' just by the fact that they are released, but they are.

take 9PM (till i come). when i first heard that i thought it was wikid, (still is) but i stopped enjoying it as much when they started playing it on Capital FM and then it was in the realm of the teenie boppers ie 'muppets who play it everywhere really loud' that excursion identified.

also i think it has sumthing to do with people wanting to be underground, cutting edge etc

just [ERRR] a tune is 'rinsed' it shouldn't die. Things like riva - stringer and other such i still love today even tho the radio slammed them out day and nite, just come back in a few months and its fine!

What annoys me is the short mixes that change how you remember the originals, unless its a good mix.

as for new tunes can u supastar dj's give us some hints once a week and a few mp3's as there is no way i can afford to buy vinyl and alot of it is hard to find on the net, what do you say?
