adjustable clutch conversion

hi chaps
i'm trying to get a bit more info about running a mk5 escort adjustable clutch pedal
i know i can get a new pedal from ford cheap enough, not sure if it's a striaght swap over or if there is more involved?, it's recomended to do this conversion if your running a full ap/helix paddle clutch kit with a uprated/heavy duty cover
i also know the clutch quadrante needs modifying or buy a uprated alloy one
my main question is the actual fitment of the pedal more than anything else
