6x9 speakers; wiring problem
Hey,
I've got a Fiesta Zetec MK4 and have recently fitted a new head unit.
The problem is that i want to fit a pair of 6x9s to the shelf but the wires from the stereo (white + yellow, white/purple + yellow/purple) just disappear behind the dash.
Does anyone know where they go or how to retrieve them in order to wire them up?
Alternatively, what is the best way to manually wire the speakers (as i do have the appropriate wires) -ie- physically laying the wires through the car?
Cheers

I see you've posted in the Technical Problems & Queries forums as well. A hint for next time is post once and a wait a reply. Or you'll find your posts deleted in the incorrect forums.
Your wires that disappear for a reason, do you not have standard speakers in the car already? If so, where are they? Just at the front or at the rear as well?
If they are are the rear why dont you just use those existing wires and connect them to the 6x9's?
I won't answer the whole scenario because everyone knows I'm lazy.
Rspec' and enjoy the forums wealth of info.

Pull the rear carpet down of the side panels and have a looksie as I found the wires and plugs all there ready to go on my missus sisters Mk4
Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience
