For sale is my 2002 registered Vauxhall Astra 888 coupe 2.0 Turbo

MOT expires - May 2013

No. 89 of a limited run of 100 models manufactured to celebrate Vauxhall's win in the 2001 British Touring Car Championship
The 888 styling is based upon the track car and gives a unqiue aerodynamic profile, race proven chassis modifications and sports interior. The short shift enabled gear throw, multi point sequencial direct injection, drive by wire throttle and an air cooled intercooler for the 2.0L Turbo charged 16v engine pushes out 192HP as standard and sees 60MPH in under 7 seconds. The special 17" OZ lightweight wheels, lowered Eibach springs and dampers bring the handling of race car to street.
This car also has the following modifications which mean it is now running a dyno proven 237bhp and 306 ft.tq;
Standard 888 interior spec includes Sparco Alcatara bucket seats and steering wheel, 888 gear knob, handbrake and pedals, blue centre console. The condition of the seats is superb with very minimal wear on the passenger seat as pictured. the front seats are always covered and there is also a cover over the rear bench, custom made by the previous owner!
With the exterior, the 888 styling kit comprises of rear wing spoiler and body coloured front bumper splitter, side skirts and wheel arch extensions.
Also has flip out single din stereo with sat nav and glove box mounted dvd player, focal front speakers with separate tweeters, dynamat sound proofing in both front doors, subwoofer and amp in the boot

Bad Points;
The car is in overall superb condition but as with any car that is now over 10 years old, there is a couple of little things to mention
Driver's door - slight marks in the paint as pictured where the mirror was in the past knocked off. The mirror was fully replaced and painted and is fully working
Very minor dint in the passenger door (just to be fussy!) and this could easily be taken out with a dent wizard

- Uprated fast road clutch (covered approx. 15,000 miles)
