1 in 3 conversion rate on fiestaturbo so why not ring us?!
Why?!!!
On this forum ,we’ve just produced stats from January last year until now & only 6 people have rung us for a quote from on here though 2 of them did take out the policy with us.
That’s a 1 in 3 conversion rate!!!! Insurance companies would expect a lot less!
My question is – why don’t others give us a ring to try us out when their car insurance is due (especially considering we have a special scheme for the users of car forums!)?
Can you reply on here please?
With kind regards
Tim

Hi Tim, Can you offer a lay up policy? I have a project in progress insured as lay up with another provider that is soon up for renewal.

Hi,
I think the last time I phoned I was told you wouldn't insure engine conversions - is this still the case?
Cheers.

Hi
I'm afraid we don't, sorry.
I think this is the reason why so few people are contacting you. Every time I've seen anyone ask for certain things via this forum the answer is always "I'm afraid we don't".
Engine conversions? Nope
Lay up policies? Nope
Requiring engineers reports for simple modifications? Yep
Agreed valuations? Grey area depending on age of car.
But then you get things like no cover for rollcages, and having to have a years experience driving "high performance" cars before you can quote, let alone being older than 25 to insure high performance cars.
I enquired and was told that I had to be 25 to insure my ST150. I wasn't at the time, so I couldn't. Riddle me this - I'd been driving it for 2 years before that with a 'mainstream' insurance company!
I think to be able to fully cater for the people on this forum some of the policies have to have a bit of a re-think before members are able to take you up on your offers and discounts.

Hi Smo
Sorry for the delay, I've been on holiday.
Yes no problem with engine conversions though we tend to require a year's experience of driving same.

Hi Sheriff
Thanks for the reply.
We don't need engineers reports for mods & we do insure engine conversions & rollcages.
We do realise that we can't be everything to everybody but 1 in 3 conversion is actually extremely good! My question is if we are insuring 1 in every 3 people who ring us on here, then why aren't more people ringing us considering the amount of members?!
