Smo - the alternator bracket is off an 1.6 c.v.h was going to use the si or rs1800 front mount, but it was massive and weighed a ton, I think I spoke to you at FITP when you walking past with your zetec bits?
sphinx - I put the engine and gearbox together and lifted the car over it as it was so light
My next plan is to paint the arches and put my new suspension
Don't know what happened to this pic? but i haven't painted it pink.
Rusty discs thats how long its been off the road.
New rubber tops mounts
New suspension
Will have them fitted in the next couple of days, will keep you updated
Cheers

Oh what! I'm so sorry, I really had no idea it was you! I did wonder the other day who it was that asked me - sorry if I didn't seem too responsive, I was a bit fed up to be honest, and those mounts I'd collected of someone were buggered
I did think the bracket may be a CVH one, but I'm a little unsure whether I'd prefer to have the extra support or not. I know someone with an XR2i 16v alternator mount, but I need to convince him to part with it
(He doesn't need it, but has nothing else to use instead lol).

Thats ok mate, there was a few people I meet who wasn't sure who I was
sorry to here about your mounts.
I was going to use the zetec rs1800/16v xr2i mount but I seen zetec rst which use the c.v.h so i thought if they can handle it mine should be fine but I did buy new mounts for it anyway just in case. plus i wanted the engine bay uncluttered as possible.
Cheers

cheers adam
BTT also very intersting in this.
There used to be a page on the main site here (not the forum) which was a detailed spreadsheet of what was needed but i can't seem to find it.

Hi all been really busy at the moment with holidays, working and attending a few shows this year plus my computer has been brokern for the last month, so I haven't had a chance to come on here to keep up to date.
There is still some things to finish off with engine and at the bodyshop but havent had the time to sort them out.
Here are some pics of the current state, could do with a clean
Cheers

not trying to rain on your parade but i dont like it, the front freaks me out (dunno what it is about it maybe the lights) but it seems a bit strange 2 me and the rear looks abit bubbly and pansyish i suppose would be the word. i by no means mean 2 be rude just stating my opinion i have a 2.0 16v fiesta and like most have kept to the usual modifications ie- xr2i arches/skirts, mondeo alloys, lowered etc... and it is good to see people doing differant things theres just something about i dont like and cant put my finger on it

The pics dont do it much justice, Saw this at FF and i was amazed.
The headlights look great in the flesh, both cut up plates look good, rear recess has been shortened i think, tinted lights are great, arches are different and all the little bits to go with it

Thanks for everyones comments
I wasn't sure how people would responed but it makes it worth it now.
I must admit I was stuck between body mods and engine mods but the car was half done they way I wanted so I had to finish it off properly. but I like the engine side now so I will probably more focusing on that now
chris-fiesta- I didn't make the headlights and as fiestamk3.5 said they are polo black angel eyes had them for months and it was a mad dash to get the fitted for ff. I still need to finish off the indicators and I will get some close ups once its all finished and the the slam panel.
hasheyb - I knew it wasn't going to be to everyones taste, but I am more in to engines I wish I had made more of a suttle or a stealth car but like i said the car was half finished for years so I had to finish it off. and its getting hard trying to somthing different to a mk3 now days. thanks anyway
Max M4X WW - Thanks mate, hope to see your engine coming along soon and the rear number recess has been shortened, glad to see these little things get noticed:D
ianFRST- Cheers for the comments, its hard to do something different without being over the top.
Thanks again
should have some small updates soon
Cheers

Well after nearly a year
I thought I give an update of the 2.0. I have been very busy at the moment with new Job's and trying to get some savings together, I've had the car a year now and just finally getting round to finishing off the last touches, the last main challenge was the interior.
I have always wanted to fit the dark Mk5 interior so after waiting a long time, a fiesta black was found at the breakers with the black dash in perfect condition. So after gathering all the bits needed, I thought I give it a fit.
Old Interior
Creamy
White
Door brackets and cables needed to fit the Mk5 door cards
New Interior
There are still a few things I still have to finish off, but at least it looks alot better than before.
I also neglected the engine bay during the winter period and it got a little bit messy, so I thought that could with a tidy up and some new purchases.
New bonnet latch
New head tanker and screen washer bottle
Old and New
New and Old window caps
I was really gutted that I didn't get any pics from fitp as I had problems with my camera, so these are the only pics that I got which was when I got home.
There will be some more pics of the new updates, but I thought I give an idea what I've upto for the last couple of months as I haven't been on here for while.
Cheers,
Cellze
