Number three of the North Wales Ford owners meets and the now established format and running order proved a success again. The route this time took in the Evo Triangle - some of the best driving roads in North Wales, if not the UK.
En route we stopped again at the Horseshoe Pass then later on at the Rhug farm shop in Corwen for food. Suitably refuelled we continued on to the Triangle and after a short pause to regroup headed for Llyn Brenig reservoir. A navigation error took us down some narrow single track, but this gave the ability for some rally style driving by leaving a gap behind the car in front, safe in the knowledge there was nothing coming the other way.
On the return run we went back to the Ponderosa where it had clouded over and the heavens decided to open. Still with the previous two runs bone dry we’ve done well.
