What We Saw At The Fair

Low Ka
Ford Fair was huge. Massive. Expansive. Certainly the biggest ever. There’s stacks of photos to post over the coming weeks, categorised as usual, but by way of an introduction to this year’s show here’s an initial selection of cars that don’t fit into the Fiesta/Focus/Cosworth/Old School banding.

Concours Racing Puma

Escort Saloon Racer
I thought at first this might be an ex works Escort but looking closer I don’t think it is. The wheels and tyres are wrong, as is the rear spoiler. the roll cage looks too modern as well.

2015 Mustang
…That 50 years later the Mustang would still be going strong? This one was on the Mountune stand so I guess it’s the Ecoboost version. This was the only one there and a left hooker. Maybe next year we’ll see a few more?

Ranger
I love pickup trucks and this monochrome double cab ranger looked as tough as nails sitting under these trees. It looked plenty sizeable next to the cars around it.

Although a proper US spec truck like this F-150 made it look tiny. The number plate was a nice touch.

Rusty Van is Not Rusty
This rusty looking van is in fact a wrap. From a distance it looked quite convincing but the resolution of the print gave the game away as soon as you got anywhere close.
