Who's interested in group buy RS1800 OEM fit alloy rad?
Hi everyone. Noticed nobody seems to make a alloy radiator for the fiesta rs1800 16v.
Got a reputable company lined up willing to make our radiator!
No more bodging pipes or rads too fit One. Would be twin core so would improve cooling too.
Who's interested? Anyone? If so please can we start a list.

At this moment the price is not available as I'm firstly seeing who is interested before I go ahead with arranging the group buy.
The company is Pace Products So its very good quality.
I need a minimum of 5-10 people before I can get any more details as I need to show their is interest in this product.

Yes this will fit the 1.6si it will fit the Zetec E engined fiestas that's 1.6si , 1.8 Xr2i and 1.8 RS 1800
The price will depend on the level of people interested. The more people the cheaper we can get this for.

im interested in this.
also isn't the standard rad a 2 core design?
will this be a direct replacement rad? or will it be a thicker type that requires a thinner profile fan and some faffing about in the engine bay?

Standard core is 22mm the plan was too make a twin pass radiator to help with cooling so it would be 44mm the same as the end tanks. As for the fan I cannot comment atm as I have not done one myself. However slimline fans can be got very cheap and can fix directly to the radiator.
Imo this looks neater than the OEM unit.
I will however raise the question regards core thickness

Hi seems tho there is not enough interest.
Sadly I'm pulling the plug on this one. Sorry
I am opting to use a rad from something else now (e36 bmw) it's very close size to fiesta tho needs brackets modding to fit. At less than 100 quid it's worth it.

I think you will be hard pressed to get many people after an upgraded rad for the 16v these days... It's not to say it's a bad idea (if I had some cash I'd be interested myself), but there are far fewer on the road now than there used to be, there are certainly far fewer on here than there used to be, and I think those that still have them will struggle to justify them.
The Zetec cooling system (in NA use with a standard engine) isn't all that bad; the Zetecs naturally run quite hot, but rarely too hot. I use mine on track, and sit there idling a lot on hot summer days in traffic (and waiting to get on track!), but it's never overheated or come close... Even when my fan switch went, it still didn't overheat! I'm sure you know what the system is like, though
With slightly more information, you might get more interest, but I understand the problem you have with that!
Obviously you have a solution now, other wise a custom copy like what Wayne had done probably wouldn't be too bad money wise!
A company local to me used to rebuild Zetec rads with much thicker cores for Daniels Motorsport, I believe! I was going to get one done but never got round to it! Unfortunately it would never be quite up to the standard of the rest of your project!
