Jesus what a mess.
Yellow one next to the tall red one is for the Fuel Injection system & that silver one on the middle row in front of the tall red one is your fuel pump relay mate.

damn i see you suffered the "burnt relay" but in your case, badly.
Na nothing is burnt, think its just the photo looks dodgey!!
Well at first the fuel pump wasnt priming when I turned the ignition on so i tryed bridging the conections to test for def if it was the relay!
The fuel pump works when bridged
So finally when I had the pump pumping lol I was cranking her over but nothing, I have a spark and fuel is pressurised in the fuel rail but it doesnt seem to be getting into the cylinders!
Seems like the injectors arent getting a pulse so there sitting there doing nothing, Plugs are dry so I know no fuel is getting through- injectors are not clicking when cranking over
I/H reckons I may have missed out an earth somewhere but I have no idea
Is all these problems linked together??
Someone please help.... getting fustrated
cheers

The power for the fuel pump relay runs from the fuel injection relay
So when you switch the ignition on power goes into the Fuel Injection Relay - (Yellow one to the left on YOUR image of the tall red relay-mines red
)
The power is then sent to the Fuel pump Relay from the Fuel injection Relay.
If you Can't get it from this then you may have other issues.
Do you have a Haynes Manual
Pm Me if ur unsure.

the red and yellow relays are same so dont worry.
sound to me like you have a dry connection.
take the main plug off that goes to the injector loom and spray some wd40 in there, check the rubber seal isnt over the pins.
while your there give the igniton module plug a spray too.
if you can get a different module, try that.
as for the burnt relay, you have had it in the past, you can see the melted bit ij the fues box and your igniton relay is cable tied to the outside.
check the pins on it, clean them up and try it.
the amoutn of problems you can get from that relay becuase the pins, well one mainly "burns" and the pin goes black stopping a connection.
fuel pump problems can happen when this relay throws its toys out the pram, so check that green relay.

Oh right cool cool thought it could be somin major!
Only a thought but for a zetec turbo usually you have to extend the wire and plug going onto the coil to reach..... theres 2 green wires and 1 black, obviously blacks joined back up to black but if the 2 greens have been put back the wrong way round could this affect it? But im getting a spark so maybe not??
cheers

no them wires dont matter, the system on it uses a wasted spark set up, this means that it sparks when its not "ment" to so you alawys getting spark.
your have to combin both your threads mate as its getting confusing

Sure you have the fuel pump earth attached on the battery?
Check that, remove the battery and see if you've trapped it underneath it. I had a similar problem a while back.
Battery is in the boot fella and when I bridge the fuel pump relay it works!!
Friend of mine is bringing new fuel pump relay and the injection relay up later from fords so il try them!! So if they dont work then I know theres something def wrong!!
