Where can i buy some window tint?
It seems like not long ago there was loads on ebay etc.. But now theres hardly any. Last night some arseholes broke into my car. smashing the rear window to try and get in. We all assumed that they got into the car with the intention of joy riding as they bought themselves a bag of beer from our off license afew minutes earlier (they have them on cctv). It's strange, the tint did a pretty good job of holding all the glass in place, inspite of a brick being thrown.
So yeah anyway. Just need to get a hold of some dark purple tint, to do it myself.
new window is going to cost me £10-15, So i don't really want to be spending anymore then that on the tint.

Try a local tinting company or eBay - the reason they are becoming less common on eBay is the fact that they are now frowned upon, and the tinting film comes out really bad and doesn't last very long for the most part. Its better to get it done by a pro company

Re: Where can i buy some window tint?
All depends on how it was done in the first place, if the window was cleaned properly, if the window was taken out, the manufacturer of the tint. From personal experience tint film never comes out as well as professional tints, but if thats not your experience, I'm not debating that.
If you've already done the tint film can you not get the tint from the same place then you're assured a proper colour match?

Re: Where can i buy some window tint?
I'll have to ask my family friend where they bought the tints I suppose. Because when they gave me the car (yeah, got the car for free), it had tints on it.
top tip, don't leave kfc and McD's boxes and wrapping all over the back of the car. THey might think its actually something worth breaking in for lol
