Shame you wont be there Paul

I'd love to re-do my shell like you are doing...it's my next little project....thing is these days I'm that busy trying to please everyone and everything I never have time to do it like I used to. Wife would go mental if I started doing that....so looks like I'll be giving my car to someone to completely re-build/strengthen the shell! Another £5k + I should think

Just don't have the time to get my hands dirty these days

Sure it'll be amazing when it's done....love to get my hands on a bonnet like that!

I take it your honeymoon didn't incorporate English Reading Lessons then? I said you will let me use your car and if/when I beat the time you set (also in your car, which you own, and belongs to you till the end of the PF thrash) I get to keep the car. Do we understand now? Don't want to trouble your mind too much with all this complicated langauge :)

 @ James....nope...I dant spik dat well innit m8! It's all the morphine I take for my back....not always on the ball so to speak

Danny: Nope, all left in and yes some...i.e. dash weighs a ton. To be honest my car was always going to be more of an allrounder than out and out track car...it's nice and comfy :D Only annoying thing sometimes is the sound.....it's soooooooo loud (exhaust/engine/turbo) that there's no point to the stereo...unless you are standing still. It's too much hassle to remove it all and I wouldn't sell it as it's one thing that makes my car mine....I was the first ever (to my knowledge) to do this to a Ford interior way back in '99 and I've always liked it...so it's staying! Until I get really old then I probably will change it!

What’s bruntes like for grip just the last two daddy thrashes I wasn’t too impressed with the quarter mile times well except for Paul Roberts/Paul Ripley for the quoted power I would expected the cars to be in the 13s is it any better or worse then Santa pod?

It's nothing like the pod mate, it's basically an old runway (that is quite deteriated in places), and it's also slightly uphill, also the way the timing is done is slightly different, in the sence that on a drag strip you are actually moving before you break the light beam to start the timing, whereas on the GPS system as soon as you start to move you start the clock...

The two mile straight is made up from concrete sections, and there is a lot of grip, however there is also a lot of crap on the surface, and your paintwork may look like someones pointed a shotgun at it after a couple of runs.
