Re: TreColl's Mondeo ST TDCi
Spent some much needed time on this on Saturday afternoon.
Got it on the ramp, phoned Euro Car Parts to get rear discs, rear pads and a center pipe as mine is blowing.
They can't get the center pipe!
Phoned the local Ford parts, they might be able to get one, but if they can it'll be £80-£90!! (Glad I ain't paying for it!)
Going to do a late night on it, hopefully Wednesday, changing that over (or going pikey on it) and hopefully (finally!) changing my boost pipes over as I'm really really down on power and MPGeees.
Some pictures. I left my mechanic to do the fronts, whilst I was doing the rears.

We'll swap the discs to the correct sides on Wednesday too! :blub:
And I sorted the rears

Bloody Hell are the abso's good!!!

Re: TreColl's Mondeo ST TDCi
Nik does still have a box, but I didn't have time to get over to him again. I bought one fairly cheap on ebay, 3 months warranty etc. £200 posted.
Should be getting the car back tonight.
Found out it's been in a huge front ender before, chassis legs and the old gearbox have been welded a fair bit. This isn't the original box either. It's been decatted and chipped too.
That along with the repaired rear arch are pissing me off!
It's probably getting traded in soon.
It was driveable with the box in that condition. Can't work out how though!

Sounds like a potentially dodgy one! Was it HPI clear?
I guess it was crashed and repaired on the cheap without insurance knowing - exactly the same situation with my MK5 Fiesta.

Well this gets traded in on Tuesday. Just agreed a fantastic price on a new car. The head unit has been taken out, everything else is staying on the car (part of the deal).
New car is not a ford, red, 1.6 petrol with over 200 brake.
