I dont think its dropped off,seems to be more people restoring frst's at the minute.Used to just be series 1+2 people were interested in.Prices now seem to be rising for good fiestas so i think all is good atm

I still come on here, as Frags said, its a rare breed the RS Fiesta....or Mk3s nowadays, as people are moving on to pastures new.

Passionford and the likes will always be busy as it caters for all fords and not a niche market, like fiestas only. Im sure the Delorean website is quieter!!!

Just to be pedantic and as much as I may agree!

A capital I should be used when it is on its own - not a lower case one!
English should start with a capital E.
It's and don't contain an apostrophe.
Misuse doesn't contain a hyphen.

I agree with Eddie and Mark. The site is a little busier of late. The FRST is a niche vehicle and one of the rarer RS models. Until the base model MK3s become retro classics like the MK1 and MK2 the forum won't get any busier.

A lot of the members who were posting when I joined are no longer seen on here though. I don't have my FRST anymore but im still interested in them and still own Fiestas albeit a mk2, a mk5 & a mk6.

As has been mentioned the good old Mk3 / 3.5 is rare breed from the 1.1 to the RS Turbo.... but no matter what happens this forum has the people on here always willing to help out if a questions is asked and is so much knowledge and experience on here....

Think it's because the mk3 is a car for a special brees of persons.
I see it also on the dutch forums, loads of new stuff such as the mk6 st and ultimate, mk7.5 st etc

Very expensive to restore..most of the mk3's have some brown marks on them.
That will scare people (cost)

Here in holland its rare to see a mk3 of rst etc.

I check the site more than 5 times a day through out the day. I have a million questions maybe some dumber than others but have to be selective as hardly any of them get answered. The knowledge is one this site by not regular enough. Come on people guys like me need your helppppp

Normally a site like this is used to flog on parts or ask for help when something's gone wrong. I daresay people are using other ways, but it's in one of my bookmarks and read it quite a lot even if I dont post.

Always hard to judge if a site is popular by just the amount of threads as there'll be info posted that does help people out, but if they're not a member then they might not sign up to post thanks or anything. I do this quite a lot with the Jag forums

I guess it'll be a core crew of so many people, then others will float in and out. I'm probably in the latter, same with XRtwo, go through stages of needng to post/view then doing other stuff with my time
