The manifold has been polished up on the front only. I may just heat wrap it and done with. How do you get it poilished up like that ?
i guess u need more than a wire brush drill bit ??

The T3 has banjo water pipes fitted which allows rubber pipes to be fitted directly instead of those std copper ones. Cant wait to get it fitted

use ya head mate, use the rusty manifold you got and heat wrap that and well the polished one on ebay and get some cash back

i may do that but its only polished on one side. Hence why i asked how to do it properly so i can finish it and flog it

Clark you minge get the thing whacked on, i poured a small bit of oil in the oil hole then fitted the feed pipe - remove the fuel pump fuse and fire it over a few times - put it back in and thrash the hell out of it

Front is roughly 40mm on spax coilovers.
back is now 40mm as well ... It was 60mm+ on the back with the old spax coilovers. I replaced them with standard ford rear shocks with 30mm drop springs. much better ride height and copes with london speed bumps

I got round to replacing my T3 today amongst trying to fix another Rs turbo.
Who said a Rs is reliable ? own up



Heat wrap the old manifold.



Got the old turbo off and swapped over oil return etc... My intercooler was full with oil



T3 finally in its place. Banjo water pipes are a god send. They fit like a dream and rubber pipes can be refitted directly onto the turbo.



It boosts like a monster now ! only gave it a quick test run earlier and it hit 12psi and a massive grin appeared on my face. Especially now the oil doesnt come out the back
