The mondys will be for sale when i got my std alloys sorted with new tyres. I'm fed up with massive wheels with silly profile tyres. Coilovers might go as well. The roads i use are too harsh for a slammed ride height.

My exhaust keeps taking a beating and the suspension bottoms out when a big dip comes up. :x

can you not higher the ride height then fit the standard rims and get the perfect ride height around -30/40mm

I will try to raise it first before thinking of standard shocks.

Tried on one Rs alloy today after failing to raise the coilovers. I need 2 rear coilover shocks or refurb the pair.

Image

Looking it at like that though, the rs wheels look SO small !

The green side strips need to go on to make the Rs wheels look more suitable.

What does everyone think ?

No i didnt - rear coilovers both have to come off. Need to hack saw the 2 bolts on the top hats on both sides then remove and refurb. The drivers rear shock has been leaking fluid all in the arch.

Couldnt release the 2 locking cogs to raise susspension.

Are coil overs really all that???? they seem to need reconning quite regularly, i would much prefer to stick with the conventional Koni/spax sport kits which seem to be upto the job.

I like the ride quality with the coilovers - holds the road well. I have enquired for a price for 2 new gaz rear coilovers.

The ones i have are spax rsx coilovers. I dont know if they offer a refurb service :-?

2 down , 2 to go

Another eBay steal. I'm disappointed that the new left center cap does not match both of the new wheels. Someone at ford obviously can't colour match. The center cap on the right matches perfectly with both alloys.

2 new gaz coilovers is nearly £270 so i think that's out the window for now

Those 3 spoke rims were not one of Ford's defining moments in history!

they so were. Get em back on :D

That colour match is crap! Damn ford monkeys!

I will have the suspension off the trackcar going soon mate, better than coilovers for road usage.
